MEMORY BOX Stamps

These new stamps go on Sale tomorrow (Feb. 1,2011) at Creative Accents.  Tara and Julie  let us into play with them on Saturday, it was a lot of fun.  I managed to get three cards done that I am quite happy with and thought I would share with you all.  This first card is stamped in Memento Ink then colored with Copic's / TH Distressed inked / Bazil card stock and the back ground paper is from Memory Box as well.  It has a very soft flowery back ground. Ribbon of coarse from the store. 

Next up two cards same style but different stamps.  Embossed with Brown Sugar / TH Distressed inks used.

Some Just Cause Cards

Did these cards through the week.  My stash of cards is getting low and I needed some male type cards. 
These are done with TH distressed  inks and Hero Arts stamps.  Love the distressed look on them.  Some twine type cord from my stash and a wooden brad for the birthday card and here you have it.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Threes CompanyChallenge #95:

Oh I just had to enter this week.  I have been following these challenges  for awhile now and today's just seemed to jump out at me and say this is it.

I had this image  from Lily of the Valley colored for awhile now and before even looking to see who the sponsors were this time round had my card put together.

My paper is Basic Grey 6x6 Marjolaine Pad / I colored with my Copic's / used Spellbinders Dies / Prima flowers Glimmer misted with Lemon Zest/ Ribbon from my Stash / Hero Arts Saying .  The sketch I got from Graphicat Creations (love Cheri's work and have the privilege off personally knowing her)

Here is a close up of the flowers and ribbon.  ( I hope the shine comes through)

Happy Birthday Aimee

I know Pink is probably not your color. BUT every girl needs some pink in their lives.   I so hope you are spoiled rotten on this birthday just wish I could be there to give you a big HUG.   Get Dave to give you one for us.  Enjoy.

Friends Birthday Card

Did this card last week for a friends birthday.  She leaves in Early Feb. to move to Nova Scotia to join her daughter. ( Who is also one of my friends, she moved there last spring.) She will be missed.  Again Hero Arts stamp embossed / saying is Hero Arts embossed as well.  Flowers from my pile.  It is a nice quick card to make and this stamp is going to have many uses.  Take Care all and thanks for looking. 

Happy Birthday Bernd and Lukus

Two good friends have their Birthdays on the same day (Jan. 7,2011)  and not only that they are Father and Son.  Dad's card is first.  Bernd plays guitar and sings.  So just had to do this one for him.  I hope it gets to him on time.

Just Cause

Here are a couple of cards that you will see down at Creative Accents.  Tara asked for a couple of cards with certain papers and we got to choose a stamp.  Well I got going last night and here is what I came up with.  Love the heart shaped bling from Amuse.  I loved the stamp cause I have several friends that I should send cards to that the saying sure applies to.  Hope you enjoy and stop by Creative Accents and see them.  I am sure there will be lots of others for you to look at as well and get some mojo going for yourself.  Also take advantage of the great sale on this week.  

Oh yes the hearts on this card actually can move from side to side.   There are bling hearts on the hearts they sure don't show up in the picture well. 

This card I used one of the Die-Namics sets I think
I am going to have a lot of fun with this one. It has some really great sayings with it.

Barb's Creation Birthday Card

Happy New Year Welcome 2011

Now with that title I am not going to post a New Years Card.  I did spend time today in my craft room getting things back to a more normal state.  (Christmas papers and stamps put all together)

I did make a couple of simple cards for my stash so I thought I would share with you.

First one is made with a new Hero Arts stamp from the 2011 catalog.  I think this one is going to see a lot of use.  Colored with Copic's  / saying's are also from Hero Arts.

Second card is made with Lavender Quilter again.  I had some left over paper and stuff sitting on the desk so instead of just packing things all up I put together another card.  Actually went together pretty fast. ( second cards sometimes work that way.)
