Getting some Cards done.

Well December is coming really fast now and I have a lot of cards to get done yet.  So tonight I put together a few.  The First one is  Thomas Kincade stamp I have been playing with for awhile, I am finally happy with this card. It is embossed on white card stock  with blue embossing powder. ( I used the Tim Holtz embossing ink I am really happy with it)

The second card of the polar bears I colored the other day with my copic's and put on the snow.  Tonight I just cut the shape and matched up the paper, actually it went really fast as there is very little coloring to do in this stamp.

I will be delivering both cards to Creative Accents tomorrow, so you will be able to stop by and see.  Hope you enjoy.  Take Care all and have a great week end.

First Card with some Silhouette cut outs

Good Evening all, well I have been putting off playing with my silhouette SD.  I did try and do some stuff the first week end I had it and was not happy with what I was doing. ( Helps if you read manual and try stuff already loaded in computer first)

So tonight I just played with what is already there. ( I am much happier) In the card above the snowflakes and  for you are cut from plain white card stock.  I Glimmer Misted them with Iridescent Gold and Candy Apple Red.  The Spellbinder shape is cut from brown Bazil, then sprayed with Lemon Zest Glimmer Mist.   I used Glossy Accents on his nose and the ribbon on the present.  My bear is colored with regular pencil crayons and then lightly touched with mineral oil.   The whole card is put together with Zip Dry Glue (it is fast becoming a fav.)

Hope you enjoy.   (PSSST Creative Accents is having a big sale this Friday and Saturday.)   Maybe we will see you there.  I will be taking this little guy into the store so you could drop by and see him.  Take Care   Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think.

Bow Tying Block

Good Morning All
New feature on my blog is a video link,  my husband has made me and a few selected friends some bow tying blocks.  We did a little video so you could see how easy it is to do Bows.

Hope you enjoy, ( PSST, I am working on getting him to make some more)

These are made from Tigerwood (a Plantation Farmed Brazilian hardwood), a very hard tropical hardwood often used in flooring.  It is cut and hand finished to size. Then drilled and laser engraved using machines that were designed and constructed by my husband. The pins are polished surgical stainless steel which are hand finished on a lathe.  Hope you enjoy the video.

Anniversay Card

This card is for my Uncle Ian and his wife Anna.  I can't seem to call her Aunt. (I have known her long before she married my Uncle and she says it is just fine to call her Anna.)

Anyway some of you will be expecting something done with my
new toy the Silhouette.  Sorry to disappoint but I am working with it.  Just had to get this card done or the anniversary is going to be long gone.

Hope you enjoy.  I wasn't so organized this time to take a picture of the supplies.Colored with Copic's and the other items are all available at Creative Accents.

Thanks for looking.  Love the comments. Take Care All

Todays Cards

Good Evening all.  Actually did 5 of these cards but 5 does not look right in a picture.  The idea for this style came from Cheri's blog Garphic Cat and her sketches.  I did change it a bit because hers is a square card and I rarely do square.  (Don't know why I have trouble with them but I do)

Colored with my copic's then Glitter Ritzed with warm green highlights. Paper is from my stash as well as the bling (if you can call the deer and tree bling)

It is a very simple card to do and I really like how they turned out.  Hope you enjoy. Thanks for looking.
Take Care All.

Just a Little Something I worked on this week.

The Card is above and  here is a picture of the materials I  used.
I thought I would do this card with just pencil crayons and a few of the simpler things, that I actually started making cards with. I will admit to using one copic pen which I forgot to put in the pic and it is the one for skin color  E00.

I have been asked by a few people lately about doing cards and getting started but they are scared of the cost so, that is what got me thinking about where to start.

Hope you enjoy.

I would love for you to join me as a follower if you are not already.  Please let me know what you think.

Have a great day all.  Take Care

Here you go Susanne

This the other stamp I received from our friends in Germany.  Susanne  had one request that if I could please make this  into a card and post it on my blog.   I have colored it several different ways with copic's but was not completely happy with it.  So here I have stamped in Memento Green Ink, added a small amount of color with a green and yellow copic's then Glitter Ritzed it with warm green highlights.  I am very happy with how it turned out.  Added a embossed back ground, used Pine Needles Distress Ink, ribbon from my stash, tree and deer from CA as well as the snowflake and bling.

I only hope Susanne is as happy with it. Please let me know what you think.
Take Care all and thanks for looking.
