Creative Accents ABC Challenge Card

Here is my little Witch sitting on a gate for the Challenge.  Colored with Copics, Paper I'm not sure got it last year. Boo is from QK alphabet, Lamp is from TH Clipboard covered in Stickles as well as the bat.

This is the inside of the card.  More of the same paper as the front and Witches shoes from Spellbinders. Paper has saying about stinky feet so just had to use the witches shoes.  And here is a close up of the lamp and the Boo for you.  I think I have covered all the requirements.

Halloween Card time

Good Day All have been busy Blog Hoping this morning and love so much of the Halloween Items and Thanksgiving ones as well.   I worked on this card last night.   Colored with Copic's of coarse distressed with Tim Holtz Black Soot.  Cut outs from Spellbinders and QK.  Different bling from the bin and Stamps from Inky and I don't remember the company that does the witch.  Take Care All and have a great week end.

Another Hero Arts Flower Birthday Card

Hi there all.  I did this card yesterday just to have in my stash.  I usually have trouble working in just a couple of colors especially when white is involved but I think I managed to pull this one off.  Embossed the back ground with a CB embossing folder, used a copic's marker to do the blue edge  and embossed the Happy Birthday stamp.

Sister In Laws Birthday Card

Did this one up awhile ago but didn't want to put it up till it was in the mail and hopefully she has it by now.

Hero Arts large flower stamped twice embossed on water color paper then used paints (water based) I used red and blue to get the pinky purple combination. I dried them and cut out and layered.  You can't see in the picture is that I also used sparkle pen between the narrow vanes on the flower to give it a little bling.  MS edge done on two layers of paper and some silk ribbon to finish off.  Saying stamped and embossed as well.  Main card is Basil stock and other is from a 6x6 I think Basic Grey pad.

Had fun doing this card and will be doing it again in several different colors.

Good Morning
Made this card yesterday for the neighbors.
Made with Hero Arts Feathers
-embossed in white then TH resist ink Bundled Sage done on
water color paper sprayed with Potion #9 and dabbed off
-TH edge cut and some scrape from the bin (matched the green really well)
-I believe the saying is a Hero Arts as well (did not keep the packaging)

Rose Card

I have had this stamp for some time and finally got around to using it this week end.  Colored roses with Copic's  coated with Crackle Accents, then used gold ink to high light the Crackle.  Spell binders of coarse and just some pink card stock I had on hand.

I have included a close up of the roses below.  Fun card to do and will be trying it again.

Barb's Birthday Card for My Husband

Barb did this beautiful card for my husbands birthday.  I love the way it turned out wish I could get a better picture of it.

-it is paper pieced for the shirt and hat.
-she has colored with water color pencils (have to get her going on the copic's)

Another Anniversary Card

Finished this one up this morning it is another anniversary card this time for my Brother and Sister In Law

QK dogs -Peel & Stick Flocked paper in brown for the dogs.
Now I just have to hope they don't look at my blog. They have two chocolate labs and many flowers in their yard.

Hilltop Creations (Joint Card Making)

Well as some of you know Barb (Mrs T) and I get together and do cards on a regular basic's.  We have a lot of fun at this and sometimes turn out some neat stuff. (we always have fun) Today Barb got a call from another neighbor that asked for a special sympathy card.   None of us like doing these cards, but here is what we came up with.  This gentle man was into hunting and lab dogs.    Some of the paper was from Barb's stash some from mine.  Idea's were just a flying and as per usual many were tried and then others were combined.  This is what we came up with and we will be looking at doing something similar for male type occasions.

Girl and her Pup

Good day all.  Here is a card I did this morning, or should say put together.  Colored her awhile ago with Copic's and just couldn't seem to find the right combination of papers and what not to put her together. 

 Paper is from Basic Grey Olivia/Saying is from CH/ fence is QK/ Distress Ink of coarse.

Evening all,  have had this card idea running around in my head for some time.  Tonight was the night to put it together.  I am more than pleased with how it turned out. 

I guess I should get with it and post all the materials like the stamps, paper and all that other stuff I used in the card but not tonight.

Aug 8,2010 Cards for today

Well it's been a little while since I was in the craft room working on some cards so today was the day. Here are the three I worked on this afternoon.  Paper pieced the overalls, colored with copic's and paper from my stack.

Lucas and Katharina are on their way home

Thank you all for your comments on the kids cards.   We had a blast and they were both just thrilled at the
comments left.  They left here today and will back home in Germany early next week.  They have been traveling the parks and visiting with a few friends for the last four weeks.  They will be back in a few years again I am sure.

Lucas did a card as well

Lucas is Katharina's older brother he is 9.  Today he made this card on his own.  I love how he used  the red ribbon as flames for his dragon.  The sparkle does not show up on my picture but it is there.

Lucas understands a little English and will be doing much better next time he visits Canada.

She's Back

This is one of her cards today.  Katharina did this all herself and
 just brought the finished card to me.  I think I may have to take some coloring lessons from her.
