Graphicat Sketch #20

Well Graphicat has a new sketch up for this year..  #20  and it is a lovely one she even has a freebee for you if you enter.. so be sure to get your card/page done and entered..

At least pop on over to her site and see what great cards her DT have done.. I know Graphicat is not a big fan of Valentines day but she sure has fun with her sayings and imagines..

 Thats right I did a shaker card been ages since I did one.. found my stuff while cleaning the room a couple of weeks ago.. ( actually found a few things as I rearranged )   Papers are from a new 6x6 that I picked up just this week..

January Tag Day today at Creative Accents

Well we finally managed to all get together today and do Tim's January tag.. It was fun and we have had a new crafter join us.. We think she may be hooked, we sure hope so..

Marianne's Birthday Card

Well tomorrow Jan. 20, is Marianne's Birthday.. So a bunch of us got together and had a suprise super out with her.. I think we managed to pull it off.. I know I should have taken pictures but forgot my camera at home.. Just about forgot to take a picture of her card..

Any way I hope you have a very special day my friend.. Here is the card I did for her..

I wish I had a better picture.. the image is just touched with a couple of blues (copic's) then covered with double sided tape, which I amplied Glitter Ritz to.

I was so pleased with the way this one turned out I had to try another..

On this one you can see the Glitter Ritz much better.. changed it around a bit but much the same..
Now if you haven't hopped over to Creative Accents Challenge Blog  and looked at this months challenge you maybe should..  both these cards are on based on Jan. theme  Winter Wonders..

2013 Creative Accents Newest Challenge

We're a bit slow getting things kicked off here, but I'm happy to be finally introducing you to our January Challenge- Winter Wonders!  Sorry Tara borrowed your script..

 
Create any paper crafting project that celebrates the wonders of winter... because if you live anywhere even slightly similar to us in Williams Lake, BC, you'll be dealing with winter for a while, so we may as well find the beauty in it :)

Here is my first card

Had fun with this one
-embossed the blue card stock with snowflakes and touched up with Distress Ink
-Stamped the snowmen
-used the Memory Keepers die for the snowflake circle
- alittle ribbon and bows

Second Card

Again just used paper and some of my Memory Keepers dies.. quick and simple..
