Just a Couple of Cards

We had a little crop at Creative Accents last Friday night to celibrate Sarah Moores Birthday. While at the crop I managed to get some cards done, actually its one of the few crops that I got so many cards done.. Anyway here are two of the cards I can show you.. the others will be on the blog later. (Birthday Cards)

This first card came about when I went to color the image, I was looking through my 6x6 papers to find the colors I wanted to do her in..

When I put her down on this black and white paper it was just the way it is suppose to be.. Backed her with black, added the ribbon and bow.  What you can't really see is the silver sparkle I used on the dog leash, her belt buckle and ear rings..  I think I will be doing more like this..

Second Card 

this little tea cup girl.. I have had her for while but had not colored her.  Just a quick and simple note card.. 3D'd a couple of the butterflies, some sparkle on her bow and the tea cup..

Sarah I really really tried to do something Steam Punk for you..
This is so out of my comfort zone.. But my Heart was really into it..

Anyway you have a great 30th

  Sarah loves Tim Holtz  so I tried to use as much of his stuff I had for this card.. Plus some other items I had in my stash that I thought Sarah my like.. (could not find any Buttons suitable)  (inside joke here for some of you)  cut the gears with my Silhouette

Creative Accents January Challenge

As much as I hate to say it we really need some. We have been having a very mild winter so far and it
would be nice to get some snow.. Any way enough of that and on with my card for you..

 I did this lovely snow flake fairy.. I have had her for awhile but never got around to using her..

Silver Stickles
New Spellbinders Stars
Goose bumps sprayed on after embossing with the snow flacks.
Will have to look up name of Fairly stamp and add later.
