Just Playing Around Card

Was in my craft room the other night trying to find some mojo or what ever and put this card together just using some left overs ..  I like the way it turned out and thought I would share it with you all..

All the scraps are from my left over bin..
Ribbon also just a scrap left over just barely big enough to make the bow

 Black roller pen to make the stitching..
So simple and quick..

Happy Anniversary Janet and George

One of our neighbors is Celebrating an Anniversary today  George and Janet Ross have been married 57 years today..  So pleased for them..  Here is the card I came up with for this special day ...

A couple of Quick Cards

I hope everyone has been enjoying August and the nice weather we have been having.. I have not been spending much time in my craft room that's for sure..  Had to do a couple of quick cards for friends and family this past week end..I thought I would share them with you as well. 

This first one is for a neighbor who had her birthday on Wednesday..

I have always liked this stamp but it has a saying built right into it that made it hard to use as often as I would like.. looking around I realized I have those nice spellbinder cut outs for sayings...

Second card is for my brother and his wife it is their Anniversary on Sept. 1... hope they have a great one.. I have put this in the mail to them so hopefully it will get there on time.. 

This stamp was Stamp of the Month a while back at Creative Accents and I love it.. So many ways to use it.

Well as I said hope you all are enjoying your summer..

Robin's Birthday Card a little early

Robin works with my daughter in Hinton, (the two of them are The Hinton Voice (well owners anyway))
At the end of August is Robin's birthday and usually I am late getting the cards to them.. Just a minute lets redo that.. I have mailed them in time... the Post Office seems to take a long time to deliver them.. So this time I sent it with lots of time and the Post office decided it would speed this one up..

Robin wrote me a nice little message thanking me for the card.. So with out anymore fan fair here is her card..

Robin has a little bit of a shoe fetish.

The stamped image is from Lily of the Valley as well as the saying..
Flowers are Wild Orchard.. ribbon and bling from my stash..

The inside saying is from  Graphic Cat (love it)

A post or two back I put up some of the cards I did at the Xmas in July Crop at CA and said I would post the other cards I did a bit later.... Well it is now a bit later and here are the two...Had so much fun at the crop..

Colored with Copic's and put together with love and fun.. I don't remember the paper except for the cowboy he is done on Cosmo Cricket Wanted

Creative Accents August Challenge

Here we are again time for another Challenge over at Creative Accents Challenges
For the month of August it is Use Your Stash..

We all have stuff we have hardly used or maybe even not used. ( I could not imagine that) or it's been a while since we pulled it out or even a tech. we haven't used in some time.

So crafty people  get looking through your stash and see what you can come up with.

Here is what I managed to find (and to tell the truth is wasn't hard once I started going through stuff)
When I bought my Big Shot I got a nice package (sweet deal) and it had a lot of additions.  I had cut this butterfly once and had it sitting there looking at me for the longest time saying its about time you used me... My thoughts were how and where to use this.  It is meant to be a album or book cover but that is not what it was saying to me. 

Here is my Card -- Easel Card that is.  I used TH Distress  Inks to do the shading-- embossed a back ground stamp that has been in my drawer calling to me--with Kaleidoscope powder-- Some flowers and some Stickles ...

I had to visit Barb (Mrs. T) for the saying stamps Cornish Heritage (she had not used these yet herself :>)) also borrowed her butterfly punch (she has used this a fair bit) and the branch is also from when I bought the Big Shot as well (did I tell you I got a sweet package).

Now you all get busy and see what you have hid away in your craft central...
So looking forward to see what you come up with.. and get it posted (sure to be some candy involved)

August Sketch Challenge at Graphicat

New month and Cheri over at Graphicat Sketchs has her latest Sketch up...

So as I waited for the guys to restore water to the house I distracted myself in the craft room working on the Sketch... (We have water again it was a split in the pipe) 
Well anyway this is my card for August .. can't believe how fast it went together for me and I really like it.
